For me, speaking about Juanma Esparcia is always deeply emotional, because I consider him more than a friend — almost like family. We grew up together at Club Tenis Albacete and, although he later moved on to other tennis destinations, we have always maintained a close relationship and stayed in constant contact.
He has always been the person right by my side and, without question, the one who has helped me the most with anything I have ever asked of him — whether technical advice, traveling to tournaments, or organizing events such as the Trofeo Internacional Ciudad de Albacete. Juanma has always transmitted calm, confidence, and wisdom. His advice has been fundamental in every project.
But his generosity is not limited to me. He is the same with everyone who asks for his help. He has no labels and makes no distinctions. In all these years, I have never met a single person in the tennis world who has spoken negatively about him. No one questions who he is or the way he conducts himself.
Juanma Esparcia is, without a doubt, one of the great figures in tennis — an exceptional coach. But above achievements and titles, above everything else, he is A GREAT HUMAN BEING.
