I was fortunate to share many training sessions and moments with Juanma. I would highlight how easy it was to work alongside him, as well as the simplicity and clarity with which he conveyed his ideas and knowledge. For me, it was very easy to understand both the working dynamics and, above all, the game itself, thanks to his infinite patience in helping you understand everything related to technique—whether correcting small details or addressing specific situations during matches. He transmitted a great sense of calm and was always concerned about making both my brother–coach and me feel comfortable during the marathon sessions with Guille.

Now, after my experience as both a player and a coach, I realize that every training session helped us improve. We knew that every session he organized served a purpose—to make us better in some aspect of the game. Working with Juanma was easy from day one: his way of explaining the game and his endless patience ensured that every training session contributed to our improvement. From a technical standpoint, he is among the very best, and every minute spent with him was used to the fullest.

Even when I was not one of his players, he always tried to help me and organize training sessions that would be beneficial for both of us. My brother and I can only be grateful for the opportunity to work with him and with Guille during those pre-seasons. I would do it again without hesitation.
