Juanma Esparcia is, from a coaching standpoint, one of the best-prepared coaches we currently have in Spain. In addition, his ability and knowledge to act as an agent for his players allow him, beyond technical development, to manage other key areas that a player needs throughout their career. Thanks to this, he ensures that his players generate the necessary financial resources through the various contracts and sponsorships that he personally secures for them.
Added to this is his experience as an advisor and consultant, having developed an innovative project for the Madrid Tennis Federation, where he was in charge of the Planning and Methodology Department. His main role was to unify the teaching criteria across the federation’s schools and to guide coaches through the complex processes of planning and programming. To achieve this, he created a teaching guide focused on developing effective teaching and training strategies, and he led continuous education processes for the coaching staff, with the aim of optimizing the quality of instruction at all levels.
If we also add his attitude, his humility as a person, and his professionalism in always creating the right structure and environment at every level, we obtain the “perfect cocktail” for each player to reach their maximum performance. All of this makes Juanma, in my opinion, one of the most complete and well-prepared coaches at an international level.
