I met Juanma many years ago, when he was working on the professional circuit.
My best memories are from the time I traveled with Frederico Gil and Guillermo García López, whom he helped make the leap to the elite level.
Today, I work as a coach, and I still use drills I learned from him. I deeply admire his relaxed, approachable attitude and good sense of humor, while at the same time being professional, intense, and effective on court.
In addition, Juanma has a wide network of contacts all over the world. If one day my son decides to pick up a tennis racket, I would love for him to be able to work with him.
