I had the opportunity to get to know and work with Juanma for many of the years during which I served as Director of the Coaching Education and Research Department of the Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET), and I can say without hesitation that he is one of those people with whom it is truly a pleasure to work, due to his dedication, commitment, and professionalism in everything he undertakes. I would also highlight two other competencies which, in my view, are essential and clearly distinguish the very best from the rest: humility in everything he does, and a human, supportive, and empathetic approach that truly sets him apart.
I would also emphasize his constant interest in education and learning, always seeking opportunities to continue growing and sharing knowledge, successfully combining the high-performance sports environment with management, and transferring all the expertise gained throughout his career as a tennis coach into the field of coach education.
Fate has allowed us to continue working together and taking on new challenges, and without a doubt, he is one of those travel companions with whom—beyond the results achieved—the journey itself will certainly be worthwhile.

Juanma has always been there… From my very beginnings, I have always considered him a reference in the world of tennis
Juanma has been the most important coach of my career. He truly made the difference.
He is like a doctor who is constantly updating his certifications and continuing education. Juan Manuel is a true professional in the broadest sense of the word and a role model for coaches who want to learn not only progressive on-court training, but also how to develop players’ careers.
